Gearboxes for the MTS Vorstenbosch

ADSvanSTIGT recently delivered the gearboxes for the worlds biggest inland tanker. The vessel is built for VT and is equipped with 3 main engines and behind each engine a Masson Marine MM W16500 gearbox. These gearboxes have a ratio of 4,950:1 with a maximum power of 1491 kW at 1600 rpm. We also delivered 2 reverse reduction gearboxes MM W8000C NR for the loading pumps. They are driven at the front of the main engines and have a ratio of 1,278:1.
